Quito Experiment, Days 5 & 6

I know I haven’t updated in a couple days but they’ve seen long days. Fruitful days but long days. Also, I wasn’t sure how to put into words all that I’ve witnessed the last couple days…but I’ll try. (Warning, long post) Thursday and Friday, we spent all afternoon in a local park. The guys playedContinue reading “Quito Experiment, Days 5 & 6”

Quito Experiment, Day 4

Wednesday was a long day. Personally, it didn’t help that I had to break open the Imodium first thing yesterday morning. I started feeling a little better, but then…the bus ride. The churches are divided into 3 different ministry teams. One team stays here at the school working with children through sportsContinue reading “Quito Experiment, Day 2”

Quito Experiment, Day 1

The Quito Experiment…a weird title, perhaps, but maybe you don’t know the people I’m working with. (I already know I’m weird.) But anyway, it’s been a good day. This after learning that all but one piece of our luggage made it to Quito. I assume that the 20 pound bag would have grounded the planeContinue reading “Quito Experiment, Day 1”
